Maddie’s® Student Services Coordinator
As a Student Services Coordinator, Kim provides academic and emotional support to promote student success in Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Program. In addition, she assists faculty and staff with various program responsibilities. Animal welfare has always been important to Kim and she is excited to serve the compassionate people who have devoted their careers to such a meaningful mission.
Kim graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Mental Health Counseling and has since worked with post-secondary students. She taught Life/Career Development while she was an Adjunct Instructor at Santa Fe College and served as an Education and Life Skills Counselor for a holistic support program catering to college students who have learning disabilities. Aside from enjoying her current role working with animal advocates, Kim loves to cuddle and play fetch with her precious cat daughter, Miette. Kim and her husband, Matt, also have an animal loving human son and a small flock of pet chickens.
