Here we are, coming up on a second pandemic-era Thanksgiving. While we have a lot to be grateful for at our program, we also see the struggles the shelter field is facing as we cope with staffing shortages, obstacles to obtaining veterinary care, and increased needs in their community related to housing insecurity and other issues.
Still, as we travel to and interact with shelters across the country, we see your passion and dedication. We see you fighting to save lives, prevent disease, and keep pets with their people. We are so thankful for you, as well as for our students and alumni who continue to help animals across the globe. It is our honor to support you in the work you’re doing.
