An Emergency Contraceptive Option for Cats During COVID-19 Delayed Surgery

  • Many communities have temporarily paused elective sterilization surgeries during the COVID pandemic. Oral contraception with megestrol acetate (MA) is an option for short-term contraception of female cats until spay/neuter services are restored.
