Dr. Ashley Saver is a Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Intern at the University of Florida. Originally from the northern panhandle of West Virginia, she attended West Virginia University and then went on to complete a dual DVM/MPH program at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special areas of interest in shelter medicine, include infectious diseases, population health, veterinary forensics, and surgery.
