About Lisa M Shriver
Dr. Lisa Shriver completed an academic small animal rotating internship, after which she spent time consulting with national animal welfare organizations during large-scale animal rescue and temporary sheltering events. She worked as a field medicine veterinarian with Rural Area Veterinary Services for six years, and during her time with RAVS spearheaded a pilot program providing regular access to veterinary care for the San Carlos Apache Tribe. Inspired by this effort, she now works to support progressive and sustainable community-based animal welfare solutions that result in lasting social change for underserved communities.
